This GA Precision PPR in 6mm GT yesterday showed up for me at my local FFL! This is one of the main reasons I am learning to reload for myself. Hope to get out to the range today to get a few rounds down the bore.
Actually, it's a very economical gun for what it is. Pricing constrained by PRS Production Class rules.
1. PRS = Precision Rifle Series. 2. 6mm GT (a.k.a. "Gay Tiger") was designed by "G"eorge Gardner of GA Precision and "T"om Jacobs of Vapor Trail was designed as an improvement of the 6 BR/6 Dasher competition cartridges with better feeding, but and less recoil and better barrel life than the 6 Creedmoor. I think my new gun + Reloder TS15.5 powder is a winner. I was doing a ladder test got 3-shot groups from 0.1 -0.6" with SD's 5-20 fps.
Another excellent day at the range yesterday... Those are all 5-shot groups at 100 yd with different powder loads.
Thank you, but in this case, it is actually the gun doing the heavy lifting. I'm actually quite a novice shooter.
Perfect weather today, zero wind, so back to the range for more load development. BTW, I'm on staycation all week. I think I've found a very good load for this gun. 0.2 MOA at 200 yds and single digit ES and SD is more than I could hope for.
