Got the new, Aluminum front bar, and install kit, for the Echo 590 today, only took maybe 7 actual min max to put it on. It feels like a totally different saw now. Good old aluminum bar with a thin rubber type cover feels so much better than the stock plastic bar that flexed. And, yes i'm glad i made the switch. Got it from the SawAgain store in Mn, ordered it 2 days ago, got it today, great delivery time.
Do you have a picture with the aluminum handle on? I never noticed the stock handle on mine being flimsy. I'd like to have the 620 full wrap but there pricey.
They are a little expensive, but, they give the saw a good solid feeling, and have a good mounting set up as well, that comes with the new bar. I just didn't like the flex that the saw had and i noticed this right off.
