I am not looking for a new saw, or a bigger saw but these look like they have some pretty good components and not to mention, they look pretty damm sexy with the carbon fiber dipped covers. They released a G372XP Pro and a G660 Pro, both with or without full wrap handle. Be very wary of something that it to good to be true a customer has 3 of those they all ran good for a little while 2are the stihl660 knockoff and one is the 360 knockoff he has been waiting for modules for 2 of them 3 months the third (660) crankshaft bearing went south the seller told him that stihl parts fit but the stihl modules have different screw sizes to hold them I tried a used stihl module and it would not fit there are other subtle differences I guess enough to make them different no other shops around would even look at them so lucky me !! I get them here JB
A good friend of mine has a Holzforma 066. The oiler on it just barely oils a 24 inch bar, and my 372 XT will whip it's a#$ in any timed cut. And yes the 372 is stock.
I have seen a few friends buy the build kits and mix oem parts and port them and they have prerformed well. The oe parts were used where the china parts were sub par. I have been told the new kits are almost oe quality. I like my stihl/husky saws but a kit saw of a old but great model to port and add to may be a thing to consider.
