    Hello
The new Duravent cleanout Ts were designed to be able to remove easily. according to the manufacturer the proper way to remove the cleanout cap os to turn the cap counterclockwise until the buttons have been pulled in by the spring clips. Then pull the cap straight down to remove it.
However after a year of being on the stove the cap is Moro hard to turn, it is frozen.
Therefore I found that when the cap is initially installed, it should be treated with either
    Dry Moly Spray
    Or
    NeverSeez High Temperature Stainless
    In the brush on can.
Then it wil be easy to remove.
    Anyone else have this issue?

Yes, I have had that problem too. I have a Duravent T on my stove that is not removable at all - even with a chain wrench.

Spray PB blaster into the seam and let it soak in, then tap it with a hammer and screw driver all around the bottom edge and press the buttons in until it comes off. That is what I had to do. :)
    Good luck!

I think a lot of the problem with mine is the installer used an RTV sealant to prevent any leaks. That's ok though. I can take off the one outside and brush in from that end.

Oh No! That is not good!
Best thing to do is change the cleanout T and put NeverSeez High Temp Stainless on the cap Before you put it on for the first time and do not use the inside cap.
