New chainsaw Husqvarna 545 Mark II

    Any tips or tricks? Will start for the first time in the morning. Have Husqvarna fuel and bar oil.
    Have numerous trees that came down out back. Like dominoes they were taken out by a Hugh Oak.
    I count 12 in the mess. Oaks, maple and hickory.
    Will have firewood for years!
    Thanks ahead for any advice

    Its not well known, but that model saw gains 10% horsepower for each of the first 10 trees cut* and 3 % thereafter ;)

    If you don’t have a lot of experience with saws, pay attention to the start and restart procedure in the manual. Learn how to engage fast idle only.

    The 545 is a auto tune saw you need to follow starting instructions they are a little different than the standard saws when warmed up you need to start on the fast idle setting and they usually go right off JB
