I'm asking this question on this forum since I know a lot of you are local to Connecticut and know what installers use in this area. This thimble was installed in 2004 by Pete's Hearth and Home in Guilford. The store is long gone, so I can ask them for ID. Does anyone know what brand this is? I see the Duravents seem to be all square these days. When this install was done, it was for single wall pipe. My understanding is an adapter is needed if I want double wall there in most cases. The double wall pipe does slide nicely right over the exposed 2" of stainless steel, so I'm not even sure I need an adapter. Final question is, I noticed that spot of rust while I was taking that pic. Does this sucker need to be replaced anyway, hence no need for all these ID questions?

In a nutshell, need ID and what adapter I would need for double wall. 6" pipe.

    thanks all.
