    Gents,

I have a 201t, a 261CM, and a 441CM that are all bone stock, and I’m looking to get them juiced up. I have a tree service that I recently got up and running, so production is becoming more and more important.

The 201 is pulling a 14 inch chain at the moment, but I’m thinking about jumping up to a 16” since I’m having to call for the 261 earlier than I want. It does pretty good with the 14”, so maybe just a muffler mod.

The 261 is wearing a 20” bar, and is not quite broken in yet, so it’s a tad sluggish. Looking to get it ported or whatever needs to be done to it to make it rip.

The 441 is pulling (poorly) a 32” chain, and is going to have to make do as my “big saw” until I get a 660/661 down the road...that’s probably a few months out yet though, since my next acquisition will be a mini skid. I realize a 32” bar is asking a little much of the poor thing, so I’m hoping to just make it a little more capable in that configuration.

Is there anyone in my area that can make these things sing?

I'm not aware of anyone in this area. Do a muffler mod to the 201 and advance the timing. I think they gain 30%-40% with those 2 simple mods. I say put a 16'' bar on the 261. Then use the 441 with the 20'' unless you need the 32.'' Then put the $600 you saved by not having those 2 ported towards the 661.
