I am not getting it explained to someone so they can understand. I think it’s a case of them over thinking what I’m trying to tell them. Can someone help me explain why draft is stronger in cold weather and less in warm. Maybe having it written and readable will help an analytical mind grasp what’s happening and why. Thanks hoarders Owl
Draft is simply a column of lighter warm air rising into the cooler atmosphere...the greater the temperature difference, the faster it rises
They read this and asked, “so it’s like a hot air balloon rising faster on a cold morning with less burner?". Yes, exactly. Thank you. Owl
That’s how things usually work with them. Some people are to book smart for their own good. The best friends you could ask for but absolutely lacking common sense and a grasp on reality. Owl
