I visit the englander web site a few times a year, I'm old, my memory fails me sometimes.
But did some of these parts just shoot through the roof?
$200 bucks for the better blower
    $22.00 for a firebrick?
    $85.00 for a baffle?
Yes, I see the 15% off for ordering 2 items or more.
I know, everything goes up.....except the paycheck.

Hmmm, now I'll need to go look. Been thinking of ordering another set of baffles for next winter.

Wow. I had also been thinking of getting the side heat shields at $95, but not they're up to $130. That's quite a bump.
Looks like everything has gone up quite a bit, and perhaps is due to them offering "free" shipping now.

baffel material can begotten from a firm that repairs or builds kiln and heat treat furnaces. stuff in the stove is 1/2" , a 2'x4" sheet is about $50-75.00 with a rating of 2000 deg. ( easy to cut) You can use 1" as well if you have a high draft rate. I have used both on a 16' flue fed by the NC30. same for the fire brick but here we have a density thing to worry about. If I remember correctly they are the heavier density ones. They are not difficult to cut either. both are fairly soft. Can be done with cheap tool box hand saw, Power saw make too much mess. In my area the company I deal with is Fire brick engineers- just look under refractory materials

Good info chris. I've already ordered some baffle "material" from a place online a couple years ago which was quite a bit less than the factory parts. Still have enough to make one more baffle, I think.
I can't find the bookmark anymore, but should be fairly easy to find again.

Sounds like the prices did go up. If I recall the better bigger blower used to be $130 bucks but I could be having memory issues about it. I paid attention to the bigger blower because everyone said it was worth it to add.

Before the new site parts were cheaper but shipping was super expensive.

The whole dang stove was only like 700$!

Well that's it exactly. Everybody seems to be taking business lessons from the computer printer industry. They'll sell you the printer for darned near cost, but lord help you when you need a new cartridge.
