I sent my brother a text with my “new indoor wood area” filled. It holds 3/4 of a cord. It was February 8th. It took exactly 4 weeks to go through that amount of wood. My stove may not be the latest or greatest, or super efficient …but it throws a ton of heat and I have a huge bed of red hot coals after 12 hours of overnight burns. My brother, cousin, uncle and myself all have old ThermoControl stoves. Made in America in upstate New York.

    Nice sized splits there!

    Bigger is better!

I heated my splits on the larger side and noticed a nice difference when compared to small splits

I totally agree. To me if you take a larger split and split in half it doesn't last any where as long as the larger split. JMO
