This stove was made by a local guy who had a small wood stove business back in the 80's.
When my parents got married, my mom's parents still lived way out in the sticks. There was a tavern in the nearest town that my dad and grandpa would stop at for beers back in the 70's but it went out of business decades ago. The building has been vacant for around 30 years and is literally falling apart.
Last time I drove by the old tavern the chimney cap had fallen off so it's now on my yard stove.

I plan on burning the stump in the background once it dries out some more.
The stove drafts poorly and needs the door cracked open for a good burn. I'm thinking an OAK might help.
I got a new phone last week. The pics of flame shooting out of the pipe at night were on my old phone.

Hi blacktail , Beautiful dog. Has a sweet face! There are a lot of those old one man shop stoves floating around that have kept many a family warm through the winter. Some of them were pretty dependable heaters!

Very nice back drop, maybe add another section of pipe?
