This time of year, I really enjoy waking up early in the morning. Ill spend a quiet hour or two with my morning coffee listening to the song birds and watching the all the activity in my back yard. In the past hour, there's been only 2 cars pass down my street, but I've had a cardinal, blue jay, an oriole, and a couple humming birds and finches stop by the feeders. I've also got a couple chipmunks living amongst my wood piles which seem to be having a feud - they're always chasing each other around the yard. Good Morning FHC!
Same here sean. Up before the sun (even though it didn't show itself today) and hanging on the porch with the dogs, baby piney and coffee. Just enjoying the sounds of nature. The road turns to dirt right after my property and is farm/woods after that so the only real traffic is a few trucks and tractors . Enjoy your day fellow hoarders!
A quiet cup of coffee listening to the birds, and watching the wildlife is my favorite weekend routine. It just seems to start the day off right. It sure beats emails and a ringing phones!!
That's about how many cars we have go past in a day...except during a gtg. We completely understand why you feel that way Shawn. It is great in early morning.
Dawn sure is a nice time as well as sunset....that is, if it's quiet and peaceful. This past weekend, a beaver and an otter swam past close enough that I could have tapped them with the fish pole if I wanted. Only one loud pontoon, but I'm thinking next weekend will be quite a change around for that!
