Thanks, each bag holds 1.5 tons plus. I got a little less than 3 tons. They are the new "Green Mountain Wood Pellets" from the former Queston Pellet Mill that Vermont Renewable Fuels retrofitted. They were tested at the UMaine and have an Ash spec of 0.31% and BTU of 8839. Despite the frigid temps here in Vermont yesterday and today:DI can confirm they are HOT and have very little ash. I have also managed not to be banned. Tthere were a couple of times that I thought there was a distinct possibility (didn't keep me from hitting the "post" button though :D), but they keep giving me a pass. Must be because I'm a girl and they don't want to hurt my feelings ;)

Thanks, it's impossible to see because I had to crop the pics so much but the bags are tilted forward. I used some pavers and lifted up the back sides about 9 inches. I do have a small kids red plastic shovel to get the last bits out. Plus added bonus....the flap door is big enough that I can hide inside when needed:rofl: ...from zombies or the Feds:)

Hey Bill, I merged your two threads together. "Part B" was getting all the chatter and left "A" in left the dust. Now all can see both sets of pic's together.

    Hope you don't mind.

I would too, But no one is offering bulk!! Those bins must have cost some $$ along with installation? But priceless on back savings!!

I'd also try to figure out a way to go straight from the bin to the hopper with a vac feed setup?
