    Definitely!

It gets pretty humid and rainy here in Pa. so our oak can take the full three years to dry. I put the stacks in the yard where it will get the most sun, but I live in a hollow so there is very little wind. I feel top covering (used roofing rubber) is a must since we are surrounded by trees.

That's a good looking wood stack TurboDiesel. Congratulations on achieving the 3 year plan.

That's how this whole wood burning thing started.
I originally put the wood stove in (thanks to BrianK ) for an alternative heat source when the power went out or when the SHTF or TEOTWAWKI , but then I quickly realized how much savings there could be. I installed my stove in 2013 (the peak of the high HHO prices here $3.59/gl) . I spent about $2800 on a used stove, SS flue liner and 2 years worth of seasoned firewood. I feel I broke even in the first year. I would have spent at least $2500 in HHO

I had a small stack of rounds left from the neighbors logging that was behind the garage. Got the rest of it split and stacked so we could mow there again:yes:.
I originally started with about 4-5 cords. Stack was 2 rows wide and about 40 feet long and 5 feet high, IIRC. Took me a year to get it whittled down

Awesome TD! Glad you made it to the three year plan. Take a minute to reflect on the accomplishment.

That's enough of that. Get out there and start on year 4! Congrats!!
