That show is so staged, scripted and lame that it's not even funny. There is more factual info coming from Obaba Barrack than that show!

Same with all the biker/car shows. How about some actual TECH. Like New Yankee Workshop but with machine tools!

Nate, I agree with you partially. The networks have taken the 'reality' out of reality tv. The days of having a camera crew in there and just film whatever happens and edit later, are long gone.

I agree, it was good the first season, and turned the wrong way quick. Still might be worth checking out.....

Agreed, but they can still be entertaining. I like the guy out west who thinks he is chasing away the mountain lions by letting his Walker hounds chase them. He spends the whole show looking for his dogs, and they are wearing GPS collars!

My wife's great uncle was in WW2 and occupied Japan after the war. He said there was no gasoline there for civilians at the time and they used that setup. He always laughed about people stopping on the street and throwing wood in the burner to go further.

I watched it the 1st season. It wasn't bad.

It's definitely scripted and played up.. But, there are some funny characters on that show.

Ustice cracks me up. Has all that equipment, 100 saws (haven't seen his collection since season 1), and sells firewood in the Carolinas as his main income??? No wonder you can't make the loan payment. Your selling firewood in the Carolinas.
