    I have been hearing about a possible eruption of Mt. Spurr that is located about 80 miles from Anchorage.
    Is that any threat to you?

    500 or so miles away. I have Anchorage friends that are very concerned. A buddy said he sees visible smoke coming out, watchs it on his daily commute into the city. Scary stuff. They ash destroys lots.
