what are these winters coming to???? this is like the 3rd ice storm this year. we've only had a few good snows. I'd rather get 2 foot of snow than an inch of ice. . . I'd rather get 2 foot of snow than an inch of rain for that matter. I like snow and winter I wanna move to canada, or alaska. idk if its global warming or what it is?? back in 2015 (I think) we had a winter that only got below freezing about 3 times all winter. smh!!!

TL; DR. ice bad. snow good!!
what have the winters been like in your area? have they gotten milder over the years?

Seems like the same variability as ever.

We live near the coast so are used to rain/snow/rain/snow mess. We can still get some pretty good dumps of deep snow /northeasters in Feb/ March, so it's not over until it's over.
I still prefer Caribbean Or Arizona in Winter.

One could also look back to the 1950's. I remember many ice storms we had then and very little snow most winters. But I don't remember many warm winters then...
