The duravent double-wall stove/appliance adapter has always fit my stove terrible.(fit my Lopi much better) I messed with furnace cement to seal it which never worked good, also there isn't a way to secure it. Three years ago I asked webby3650 what he used. He recommended cutting down this adapter. Amerivent All Fuel Single Wall Adapter Well three years later I finally go around to finally installing it. I haven't fired up the stove yet but it looks like it will work much better.

Here is the DVD adapter, you can see the areas where it was leaking.

Here is the Amerivent adapter cut down and installed in the collar. It fits the stove collar much better than the duravent adapter.

I have a duravent system on my Lopi... Like you said it's a nice fit and I dont see any leakage. Was yours leaking smoke into the room?
    Nice mod, by the way.

My Lopi Endeavor had a one piece collar, I think Lopi uses well casing for their collars. The stove adapter would seat down on the stove top nice and tight.

Can't say for sure on a leak, I never seen visable smoke. On a low burn I would occasionally chase a slight smoke smell around with my nose. I have no idea if this will solve that. More than anything I didn't like the sloppy fit.

The duravent adapter fit great on mine. Nice and tight. I did have to grind out the huge blob of weld inside the flue collar though with a die grinder.

Ground mine clean back when I got it, it was a mess. I wonder if it has anything to do with the stove being older(2006). I doubt anything changed but who knows!

And duravent is now owned by m&G or somebody else. Perhaps they slightly changed their manufacturing process.
