IDK. That thing is made out of sheet metal. A good hot fire would get that sucker cherry red. I would not want to be depending on that for heat in a permanent structure. But that's just me.

We use something similar up here in our ice shacks, should work out A-OK for the shed.

I made this one out of an add on firebox for those grills that they sell at Lowes. I had about $40 in it I think. I used it in my Tipi.

Usually for camping. Some larger tents are set up to allow a small stove to fit properly like the one Pallet Pete linked to.

Ok fellas I had a tent wood stove given to me and set it out BEHIND my house. Last night I heard noise and walla it was gone ! Some jerk stole it. :( That was going to heat my new wood shop ! So now I need ideas again. Looks like I need to buy a heater so what you got for ideas ?

10*14 steel shed. It heats very well with my 80000 btu torch but propane is very expensive.

Pete, a cast iron beast of a stove that they can't move!

Man. You've got oak bunch of thieves around you. Get another small stove and make sure it is in the shed and locked up even before installation. A shame when you can't keep anything on your own property without having to have it anchored down.

I live about 2 blocks from a steel scrap yard. It was really my fault :emb: for being so stupid with 17 & 18 year old trouble makers across the street. Pretty sure I now who did it ! I almost always lock up any metal in the garage with them around. I call them juvy 1 and con 2 which makes them pretty mad that we all know around the neighborhood :D:rofl:  We don't really have any problems anymore except those two intentionally unemployed and stoned idiots and metal.

The firewood thief was caught a while ago with a ridicules amount of firewood on there property. Something like 10 piles equaling around 45 full cord. BIG piles too. They where selling it and had two splitters set up to look like they split it next to some piles. The town cop told me while trying not to laugh that they didn't even look used just like they where off the showroom floor. ( probably stolen too )

Pete if it wasn't so far away I'd send him on a road trip. 2nd suggestion, do what the guy in NH did with the landscape business. As I understand the story, a couple of 21 y/o idiots, obviously trying to qualify for the Darwin Award, broke into his business. While attempting to help themselves to his hard-earned property, they tried to use his oxy/acet torch set to open the safe in his office. Apparently he had decided the safe was a good place to store his commercial grade fireworks. KAAAABBBOOOOMMMMM, you can figure out the rest of the story. As Ron White says............."You can't fix stupid!
