A friend Has some trees that are about 20 inches in diameter of white and red oak that he has cut down and I’m wondering if anybody has used a portable chainsaw mill? If so can anybody recommend one?

If you go into the "Sawyer Room" section, that is a lot of milling content.

    Oak is no joke!

I recommend a Grandberg. USA made.

Paul I have many customers that do milling almost all use the grandberg mills that is also what I have there are plenty of options out there but most are cheap copies to do milling you really need 70cc saws and up this is a case of "Bigger is Better ":whistle:it takes a lot of power to mill also 25;1 on the mix it will extend the life of the saw any questions there are a lot of answers here !!
