Well almost, just waiting on one lousy HVA screw to hold the filter on. I have been using a used one, waiting for new OEM! I will post pics/vid tomorrow.

Do we want to go ahead and port it now so it's done when the bidding starts or wait and see if the winner wants a ported saw?

Mike, if it were up to me, I'd be sending it off you yesterday. Unfortuntely it is not. We'll just have to wait until the winner has run the saw and give them room to make their own decision.

Pictures and specs in just a bit. I have customers' saws to finish up, pack and ship. Besides it is raining 'big time' here!

Firewood Hoarders Club members designed this saw by selecting (by poll) all of the major components of the build. It is essentially a brand new saw, using all OEM components except the muffler and the air filter.

The saw is a ground up build of the Husqvarna 372XPW (74.6cc) using new OEM or new old stock OEM parts
    · New OEM crankcase
    · New OEM crankshaft, bearings, gaskets and seals
    · New OEM 51.4mm 74.6cc cylinder and piston assembled with base gasket Per Mdavlee for possible WP (member selected)
    · New OEM clutch
    · New Walbro HDA-12-1(B) carburetor with limiters removed (member selected)
    · New OEM HD intake tract (member selected)
    · New AM HD air filter
    · OEM unlimited coil
    · New OEM Tank/handle unit, starter, clutch cover, top cover, HD filter cover and inner/outer felling dogs
    · New OEM AV mounts and controls
    · New OEM half-wrap top handle (member selected)
    · Dual port/tuned pipe AM modified muffler (member selected)

Assembly process was carried out using HVA approved tools, methods and specifications including all fasteners installed to factory torque standards.

Saw has approximately 20 minutes run time for tuning purposes. The saw is currently tuned for no ethanol fuel at 50:1. (I HIGHLY recommend retuning for your location and for extended life running 32:1).

Saw passed pressure vacuum test during assembly and is currently producing 148 PSI compression. However the compression will go up 5-7 PSI as the saw breaks in.

Pictures of the completed saw will follow shortly, and just to satisfy Fuzz I'll put a bar and chain on it. Ignore any brown stains on the saw as they will probably be blood, Fuzz will clean them off for you!

And before someone asks the pulse line is Viton and of better quality than the factory line much thicker wall and more stiff to resist kinks. It does not come in black! It is Dolmar pulse/fuel line for the PS-421 and is sold by the meter about 9-11$.
