For Sale or Trade Trade in from original owner. McCulloch Pro Mac 555 with original 16" bar, chain and carrying case (no scabbard). I'm just not into Mac's and she is to LOUD for 57cc. $75 and shipping, bottom dollar. Only thing I notice missing is 1 recoil bolt, 1 bolt and muffler diffuser. Chain needs a sharpening. I just hit it enough to test cut with. Thread, this 555 starting about 2nd page as traded in and parts I got from Al to complete it. http://chainsawrepair.createaforum.com/mcculloch/mcculloch-pro-mac-555/
Here is what was removed by original owner. Guessing spark screen and the diffuser or deflector I call it. To help aim exhaust out and away from operator. http://www.ebay.com/itm/NOS-McCullo...945?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item35ecd304a1
Very nice. Same basic 57cc powerhead as the PM55 sold 2-3 years previous.Co-worker found me an excellent 55 last August - 90% + original paint, original slim 16" mac-10 bar, great compression, everything works including chain brake.Just needs minor tinkering, new fuel line/filter,carb work. Was going to give it to me but I insisted on paying $35 since he went to the trouble to clean it all up first.A friend of his seen it sitting on a pile of trash on pickup day some time previously. My 55,same with my mid 70's 10-10 Automatic both have the ''short'' clutch cover that leaves cylinder & muffler exposed.I believe all the 10 series clutch covers are interchangeable, even the 82cc Super Pro 80/81/81E/PM850/800/805/8200 etc.
I had a straight stack Homelite xl-12 like that I think ! That's when I found out that hearing loss actually does make a sound
Crazy. Sold 4 saws today, 2 Mac 2 Homie. Amazing moving sell when you price them at give away prices.
