Mcculloch 250 Bar Restoration

    Hi guys! In this thread I’d like to show how I restore unfinished bars. This one in particular is for a 250 Mac. 70EB93A0-892E-4F77-94E9-4D1036CB266E.jpeg

    Bar in its original state. Just clean up the rails and get any old gunk out with a shim. Having pressureized air is handy!

    Getting ready to blast. When you do sandblast, be sure to get the nooks and crannies as well as any pitting that has occurred.

    Now in order to restore the metal “grain,” I use scotch brite and WD40 and use a back.....

    And forward motion to orient the grain.

    And when finished it should look nice and pretty!
