So I can change the pole barn and be able to mill under cover and not drag the mill out and set it up every time.

Heavy isn’t even the word for those boards.

    Nice!
With the price of lumber these days those mills can really pay off for a guy!

Poplar dries quick but it's going to be awhile the sap was in that tree. They are stacked and stickered in the main aisle of the barn. I have been thinking about that and not looking forward to it.

So much to owning a mill. I had a bunch of complementary machinery and the trees and the barn and equipment shed. I am talking about all the forethought involved because you are going to have this stuff for months and years and you don't want to move it. I had to move all my chainsaw milling wood from the part of the barn where I am going to put the mill full time and that was a couple days even with the skid steer.

Anyone thinking about a mill, start collecting some old roofing if you don't have a building to store the lumber you cut right now. And I am scoring free skids 8' and 10' heavy duty ones from a local cabinet and door shop for free.

And you are going to make a mess, so have a spot picked out for that.
