Here's a little video of our PE Alderlea T5 at max. burn. This is about a 2/3 load of fast burning wood (red maple, sassafras) with the blower at maximum. It was quite an impressive (scary?) fire show. Trust me, there was alot more orange flame live than the camera captured. Fortunately, with the blower on maximum, the STT never got out of control. :)

Oh, you did add a blower, you like it?
I don't worry until the stove hits 700 and when it does, the alarm goes off

Yes, I added a blower. I and more importantly Mrs. Bayerl is very happy with it. Overall, it evens out the heat in the living room with the stove. Also, it evens out the stove top temp. It was not uncommon to see 800*F+ at the collar without the fan. Now, it rarely gets over 650-700. I've have to believe this will extend the life of the stove in addition to evening out the heat in the house. Added a blower today to my stove (PE Alderlea T5) | Firewood Hoarders Club

Oh I missed that thread, working behind the stove like that kind of like working under the dash in a car:hair:

Great burn - really like the looks of that stove! Cheers!
