This is the saw from this thread...... MS261 VS MS261 C-M Comparison I ported one for my Stihl dealer, and one for myself at the same time. I love this saw.......but I got a new one. I'm all about resale value and such stuff. I figured I should sell this one before it gets too much time on it. This saw is also the one from this thread. Dyno tested....Mastermind's ported 261cm vs Stock 261cm Gotta see this one. Here is the dyno chart that it generated. And here are some pics......yeah, it still looks good. Tough to see, but there are a few blemishes here......where the starter rubs. Yeah, it wears an XP sticker.......but it's more of an XP killa. A little paint loss in the Stihl logo here. One of Jon's custom deflectors. It is not screened, but can be easily. Also notice the MS361 dual spike kit. Just blown off with an air hose.....I'm not into spit shining saws. lol It's running a 3/8 rim at the moment......but I'll ship it with whatever the buyer wants. Love the filter system on these saws........best in class IMHO. Price? $650.00 Shipped.
I don't know if you will catch this question Randy, but I know you had these 261c's dialed in quick after they became available in 2013, being you did many a regular 261. Any significant changes to your "recipe" since then? BTW my 261c you did for me around thanksgiving of 2013 hasn't let me down or failed to impress once. Thank you sir. Actually this year was the first I sold firewood because of the excess we had available. Love getting er done with these saws.
