This came down this summer, I think it's red but I'm not sure. This was in the first area I did trail clean up on.

Need leaves for a positive ID... that could be any of several maple species on my property, including red.

    Soft for sure.

What grows your property? Red and/or silver?

This came down earlier in the spring so the leaves are gone, these rounds went in the splitting pile with the cherry.

I think it is Red Maple, but that is just my impression, not based on any specific thing about the tree. That tree looks just like the Red Maples around here.
