A few years back I inherited a bison skull when my dad died. His dad was in the CCC and was originally from Nebraska but ended up in North Dakota since he had an engineering degree and that skill was needed on the new national park being built in Medora ND (Theodore Roosevelt National Park). On his off time he would explore and came across this bison skull in a dried up river bed. After I came into possession of it, I pondered for quite a while on how I wanted to display it. Last weekend I made my mind up. Since I was at it I figured I may as well do up a couple of the racks I've collected from deer I harvested. I scrounged some barn wood and made some plaques. I thought it was fitting since the bison skull was found in ND, and I work for NDSU and their mascot is the bison, that the plaque should be cut out in the shape of the state. Today I hung my treasures in my office at work. 20250318_083316.jpg 20250318_083259.jpg 20250318_083305.jpg 20250318_083242.jpg
