Ok...so I'm attending an area church conference representing our small Church today.

I found a light hearted book about what Lutherans believe in, at the conference book sale. My son's received the same book as part of their confirmation class and I bought it for my bride as she is looking at becoming a member.

I opened it up and found this section.

It looks like the author could have been a part of FHC because he knows his firewood! :)

Too bad the rest of the planet can't step back and laugh at themselves like this. Don't take life so seriously, you aren't going to make it out of it alive.

Very true. I think we were all given a funny bone for good reason.

    Love - laugh - live!

"If you find yourself in a situation where being burned at the stake poses an imminent threat, try wearing flame-retardant material."
Some darned gooder advice right there. I carry flame retardant clothing wherever I go......you know, just in case.

She looks smug knowing she made the right decision.

So low and slow is a no go. At least request apple wood or cherry wood to get some enjoyment on the smoldering pyre.

Good information there. I've worried a few times about getting burned at the stake. Or maybe at the steak. Either way, good wood is necessary.
