Lucky find today

I happened to stop into a Tractor Supply today and came across these. I don’t have cases for either of my saws, and these ought to fit the bill. I’ll pull the Poulan stickers off and then they can happily hold my Husqvarnas. $5.01 each! How could I go wrong? There were 6 available and some of them had a film of oil in them, so I’m guessing they contained the actual saws depicted on the labels.

Every once in a while I will find a similar deal. Got an Echo 12" bar cover for $2 from Rural King this past spring. Not the deal of the century, but a deal none the less.

That's a great buy on those cases. I bet retail is over $30 a piece.

If you buy the name brand case, they are about $35 each. So great deal

 

My Poulan case was a bit more expensive, but it came with a free saw, so I went for it.

 

Watch the snap latch's on those. I have one that like's to try dumping the saw out! Guessing those are the same as mine.

Your Husky's will be right at home. The PP5020 saws that come in those cases have Husky cylinders/motors.

 

I like that box. Been thinking about mounting one on the SxS to haul a saw along.
We actually could have used it recently as we got caught out in a pretty good storm and had to move some trees off the trail to get back.

 

I think Northern Tool sells the Husqvarna big orange box ones, but if you look on the website , you can find the exact same thing in Black for ten bucks less.

 

That's a good deal for sure, I drove by a Tractor Supply tonight and thought to myself that I need to stop in as I haven't been inside one in a while.

 

Leave them on, then no one will steal your saws. Nice find!

 

Probably has something to do with how they mark clearance items. Many stores seem to have their own “secret” price codes.

That’s funny! I actually did end up leaving them on because they weren’t going to peel off easily and I didn’t really feel like breaking out the good-off or the acetone. So I broke out the sharpie instead and wrote 350 on one of them and 359 on the other. And as moresnow said, they did fit right at home.
