A friend just told me Lowes in North Windham Maine has a BOGO sale on pellets. He paid for 2 tons and got 4 tons. I just looked on their site and they are advertising at $1.99 per bag. Wow! No idea as to brand, sorry. GO get 'em!!

Just checked the Bedford, NH & Concord, NH availability and they say the cheap stuff is $1.99/bag. I would guess GWP and / or Inferno's at Bedford (that's what they had a couple weeks ago), but I can't remember what else Concord had besides Inferno's.

    Folks,
I called some of the Lowe's Store located in the Seacoast, NH.
    Here is what I found:
    Lowe's Greenland $99.50/ton
(Described as $199/ton, Buy one, get one free.)
    Maine's Choice,
Lowes, Epping Still at old higher price of $199/ton.
    Maine's Choice
    Lowe's Seabrook $99.50/ton
    Inferno Gold
    Maine's Choice
    Lowe's Rochester $99.50/ton
    Nation's Choice
    Nature's Own
    Maine's Choice
    Inferno Gold
Shipping is $65 for any number of tons.
Lowes told me that there is a 10% chance that you will not get
    the brand that you ordered.
For what it is worth, I will state that I purchased another four tons of
Nature's Own. They will be stored outside. That brings my inventory
to 15.8 tons. About six year's worth. I do not think we are going to see
    $100/ton prices ever again.

JT, I think you might have predicted something like this would happen in the spring.
You know, way back at the beginning of the season when we started noticing stores had about 10 times as much product as they normally do? And then there's Upton...

In was optimistic prices would fall. But I was thinking $225 or so would be nice. I will take $99.50 a ton
