Renting a log cabin lodge from Serenity cabins this weekend for Mom and Dads 60th anniversary. Is there anyone near there that would sell me a trunk load of camp fire wood ? Will be there early Friday morning. Hate to buy by the bundle..

I don't suppose you'll be driving through Cincinnati on your way there?

I do and would be happy to help you, but traveling on business for the entire week.

Enjoy the time with your folks and the cabin!

Let me clear up the post above.....

I will be coming from the north... So if I end up in Cincinnati I made a horrible wrong turn..

    It's not that I don't like Cincinnati... (I do... It's so close to Kentucky:rofl:  )

I'd help you myself but you'd have to travel off your route about 50 minutes round trip. If it was a Sat vs a Friday I'd meet you close to Rt 77. At least I'm guessing you would be coming down 77

Most of the firewood sold in Hocking Hills are the $5.00 small bundles for tourists and they sell a lot of it.

Since the whole area is heavily wooded, firewood sold by the rick or cord to the locals is reasonable. If it were me and you want big campfires, I would bring a small saw and scrounge or look on Craigslist and cut a deal for half a rick or so and pick it up.

I know where your cabins are located, lots of woods all around the area. Just need something to cut it up.

That is half a mile from the old house
I think it works out to half a cord
About 3 miles off 33 would be easy on off
    4 foot length
Call them might have a broken bundle ask for Shannon
