    Check battery?
Pull the spark plug out and see if it turns over easy.
Check the obvious first. Oil level ok? Many small engines have a low oil cut off. If its sitting out of level it will do the same thing.

That is sad as sometimes you can tell much just with the recoil starter. Have you tried jumping it?

Try turning it over by hand or with a socket and ratchet on the crank bolt. You will have to take the blower housing off. The starter is not jammed in the flyhweel is it? Did it make any funny sounds?

Ok just came back in from checking stuff. Something has to be wrong with innthe starter before the motor. Grounded the jump box on the block and touched thw positice to thw positive on the starter. It turned over but was really hard to turn over. Tons of sparks. But it would not spin enough to start. Is it possible i tightened down the housing the covers the timing too tight? Or is this a more major issue? Granted the engine has issues.

No nothing in it. Pulled it off and check to the block and through the muffler.
