One eyed South American tree worker told me it was oak. I thought it was some type of hickory yesterday. Stopped today, it’s wet and I think it is some type of Oak. Black maybe? What is it?
Thanks guys. I swear it looked like a hickory when it was a little drier. I didn’t look very close I guess, was looking at the other trees down. So I’ll assume this Pin oak is also called a pizz oak due to its smell
Variety of red oak. Possibly pin. If it has a strong manure smell its pin. Most pungent of the oaks IME. Go get it tomorrow!
