Cool video. I still see the remnants of the river log drives in Northern Ontario. Pulp is hauled entirely with trucks these days but pulp logs from yesteryear still litter the shores and bottoms of river and lakes. There is the remains of an alligator boat on Red Cedar lake north of North Bay Ontario. Other times I will see sections of the old booms (3-4 long logs chained together) along the shores of rivers and last year I seen a couple of full section of boom still afloat that kept logs out of the back bays and in the main river channel.
