Decided since it was a gorgeous day out, I should head down to my mothers after work and cut a tree down she has been on me about. Went for the small one today seeing as it was 4:45 by the time I got there.

Took about 15-20 mins for a little score. Feel like I did a decent job on the cut.

Taking this bigger oak out Saturday probably. Going to try and cut the lower branches to reduce the risk of clipping ny mothers porch.

Then the problem becomes where to split and stack all this wood. Worse problems to have tho:thumbs::hair:

Think im close to 2.5 ahead.

I could but i try to minimize the time and amount I handle it. Otherwise I just feel i am not being efficient. She lives about 15 minutes away so its not out of the question

You done gooder capetownkg! And like Smokinpiney said, nice hinge!
Would storing at your mom's give you the sun exposure for good seasoning? Looks shady by way of tree lined side yard?! I know it was late in the day, just wondering.

Well I am a man of my word! Went down to my mothers to finish this tree. Took a few of the lower dead branches off to avoid them clipping my moms porch and dogwood trees. Put my mother on the rope to help guide it, after I made my face cut tho her neighbor came over and did the pull hence the pause in the video. Watch in HD of course.

My face cut was screwed up a little so it didnt go exactly where I wanted but everything worked out.
