Last night we had a big wind storm. The Good Lord saw fit to have that tree fall on my to be chainsawed pile instead of my house. Just wanted to share this little miracle with you all and hope you have a great day! May God's grace shine upon you!

Has anyone else here had any what they would consider a wood pile related miracle? Let's hear the stories!

We’ve had three standing dead ash trees land on our chain link fence over the past few years. I’ve gotten some wood out of it and learned how to fix the fence! ; )

The LORD'S HAND surely guided that one.
This big pecan tree didn't land on a woodpile, but Hurricane Helene blew it away from the house. We cleaned it up for the lady. It was about 5' from the edge of that ramp... 20250419_095002.jpg 20250419_113919.jpg

    Excellent
5 years ago as a newly minted member I was busy busting my hump, bringing home load after load of wood trying to get on the 3 year plan. 2020 was also a brutally hot summer, and during all that mayhem I was also putting up a pool and rebuilding my deck. August came and with it a tropical storm that knocked down a huge red oak right onto my crude stacks at the time. That ended the scrounging for me for a while after that :D

Funny, this was the first one that popped into my mind.
