Barely had the hickory tree cleaned up and now I got an a$$ load of mulch and more coming today. Moved alot with the dump cart and quad and theres gotta be 20 yds here and more to come. I couldnt resist, tree company taking dozen monster pines and chipping everything. Knives on tgat chipper must be brand new cuz this stuff is nice. They are chipping the whole trees and were hauling chips a 1/2 hour away. They were glad to dump em 4 houses down when i talked to them. I already started putting them down on the trails around the house. FAA12A6D-3618-4209-8226-9CBBD63C32FC.jpeg 736E5713-8768-43E8-B578-98F14BABA3B7.jpeg

Does the mulch not get gooey and slippery when wet?

Nice score. I'd love a bunch of that for the garden.

Once it's spread out it stays pretty dry, water tends to run through it. There is often mud underneath wood chips though.

Sure wish I could find a deal like that with wood chips. Only once have I found a load that I could get. But the trimmers are scheduled to come here to trim around utility poles. The forester told me they should be here sometime after Memorial Day. That was in April he told me that and he is right. They still have not come.

I remember several years ago we got chips like that and even much more. We spread on all the paths of the archery course; 28 targets.
