I am getting ready for the approaching bushfire season, yesterday I stoped in at the local tool shop to get a new Rakho. (McLeod Tool) It was pricey but great quality and Australian made, Of corse the lifetime guarantee is great if only I can keep my receipt somewhere that I can find it when needed. I just don’t see this kind of commitment to product’s much these days. later that evening I put my new tool to good use burning off my brush pile and some dry grass.
Looks to be really well made! For sure don’t see that type of warranty anymore...always a lot of stipulations if there is one. that was a good sized fire!
proof of purchase is so stupid.. You have the rake in your possession, that is proof of purchase.. Thats how they get out of these great warranties. It isn't like you went to the salvage yard, bought a broke one and tried to warranty it.. ps, could of used that bad boy a few weeks back when my favorite neighbor set the woods on fire.. had to manage with my garden rake.
