As most of you know, I picked up my 2nd, 28-3500 in March. Its still on the pallet and its sitting up about 4 inches and is really nice not having to bend over as much. The Pallet is super thick and the same size as the stove. I'm thinking about just leaving it since its a furnace. The stove does not get hot on the outside at all.

    Thoughts?

    Thanks!

On a pallet? No. The stove needs a hearth but not a pallet.

If you like the height then just put some 4" concrete blocks under it. I'd worry about an errant spark or ember getting under the pallet...

I'd leave it. What could possibly go wrong?

Not sure if that was serious or not; pallets can rot.

I have one of these and it sits on 4 inch cinder blocks. I wouldn't trust the pallet.
