Lawn mushroom id?

Found these growing on the lawn, anyone here recognize this mushroom?

 

No clue. but makes me hungry for a burger topped with mushrooms and swiss...

 

Little large for a fairy ring mushroom, but they are the most common in turf.

 

I get these every year on an elm stump but don't have a clue what they are. Pretty tough though. That's a full Pepsi BTW and pretty heavy.

 

I think what you have is a pheasant back mushroom looks like it has round pores on the underside. They are common on elm and edible best when young. But as with any mushroom do research and find someone that collects wild mushrooms to be certain. The mushroom in the original post I believe is different from yours.

 

Is it blue inside?

Thanks for that cwn. I don't really care at all for mushrooms unless it's mushroom soup but I would never think of eating a wild one without knowing for certain it was safe.

 

I go out and hunt for chicken of the woods quite a bit. Sometimes a few buddies will give me a call when they spot one when they're driving. They are my absolute favorite.
