Lake superior

I watched that ship go out that morning on the webcam. She had just unloaded salt and backed up from the slip and started moving forward where this video starts.

N W Minn is under a blizzard warning as we speak. That would be way behind that cloud.

 

That lake is awesome, we camped in da UP at the end of August and Superior was rocking and rolling. My kids giggling and laughing as the waves knocked them over was priceless.

 

Crazy stuff.

I'll watch the weather on the north side of our state.

 

Radar & GPS, but still, it's flying blind by instruments.

 

Well, if the captains are anything like vehicle drivers during heavy fog conditions, they just steam ahead all full and hope they don't run into anything!!!

 

Says a prayer for the sailors on that boat. Like they say, "Lake Superior never gives up her dead" Godspeed to those men.

That lake never ceases to amaze me.

 

Absolutely, the great lakes are far more dangerous than some think.

 

Just take a look at the bottom of the lakes...

 

I guess we do have that effect on others now, don't we???
