    Not a bad idea. I keep all my kindling in the garage in a plastic box. I think if I put something at the bottom between the 2X4's so it would not spread out so much it could work.

    Put a few rocks around that & you'd have a towering fire pit in no time.... Just have to make sure the cinderblock is dry.:whistle:
