    Just got my new drying rack ready, tommorrow i am gonna get some trees down to fill this one up with fire wood.
    I am affraid if this one is full i am gonna need more places for my firewood hording illness. :)

    Should be fine for a while though. I hope.
    Just remember that a cord of Oak is somewhere around 2 tons. Someone correct me if I've misremembered that.

    I agree just get two more cross bars in, one each between the posts. Give you a peace of mind knowing your wood is supported more evenly especially if you're cutting green trees being so heavy.

    Id say that's pretty close. I towed a 3/4 cord of oak in lengths and it was just about the heaviest load ive ever towed. But then wet is different from seasoned 3 years.

    Yes, yes---but what is "that place"? is it a garage, an out building or your residence? It all looks freshly built with the foundation not finished and all...
