I always get excited to show off a new tape measure too!!! Has a clip for your belt and a lanyard for a belt loop in case it falls off.. I think the saw and the wood are blocking it from view in pics 1 and 4.... Congrats!!

Not a mini van. I have some pride left. It’s a Ford Edge. Love it. Rod and waders and golf clubs in the car at all times

Yes, and you don't even have to know how to read it, it has all the fractions marked for you the entire length.

I want to rig up a rod onto a chainsaw. When you get a Marlin on, then it will be easier to tell it in. Just give the trigger a couple blips.

    Nice new saw!

That had to have been a workout for that new saw. Looks like it did well. Congratulations.

Having used the Stihl after using Craftsman my entire life (I haven’t had to do a lot of cutting but that will change now) I cannot believe how easy it was. What would have taken me minimum half an hour with the Craftsman, I did in 12-15 with the Stihl.

Nothing like a new saw. Reminds me of when my late uncle gave me my first "real" saw. A Stihl 028 in 1985 right after hurricane Gloria. I was using the little cheesy Homelite with a 14" bar.
Keep it SHARP, maintained and a lifetime of service it will give you. Be careful though CAD is very catchy!
