First time in over 2 weeks that the temps are double digit above 0 starting with a 2??? It's 25*F here now................could almost break out the shorts it feels so balmy!!! The 13NC has calmed down with the bit milder weather.....................the same load now will only cruise a about 600*F vs. 700*F+!!!
It's crazy alright when its so cold, we adapt and temps in the 20s feel warm. We had 8°F this morning and it felt great! Had to take my jacket off!
Met my dog training club for "upland" training yesterday morning.................as I drove into the state park, the thermometer in my truck read -9*F.....................by the time I left, it was up to 11*F and had I needed to stay longer, I would've shed a layer. This morning, met my other dog training crew and we started out in the upper teens......................I was sweating in short order and needed to shed.............................crazy how fast one can acclimate.
