Jonsered 670 - convert to a 268?

    Here is the last of the three 670s that came to me in pieces. This one is a mess with a scored piston and cylinder.

    Missing the air filter cover, chain brake, muffler, and handle.

    Since it is a new style crankcase it can become a 268 pretty easily with a Meteor cyl kit, aftermarket top cover, insulator block, etc, but it gets a little expensive.

    Anyone interested in seeing a conversion? If so I need to round up a few parts!

    I have a 670 jug, if you're interested... but I also wouldn't mind seeing the conversion done. :)

    Thanks, I may take you up on that.

    The more difficult part is finding a good used 670 boot. I think I have all of the parts to convert it to a 268, so we'll see what happens after I dig through the parts bins.
