There is 2 different types if you didnt know already. Plastic ones and metal ones (harder to find). Thread about them on CRS and posted pics of both.

Just thought of something. What is wrong with your 2077 cover and how bad of shape or did you just cut up the husky cover like we showed for these saws? Pretty sure I still got this one. I was just going to paint it orange for a project I am long onto.

Looks like a crack or 2 started in these pics in the plastic so never mind.

My saw has a modified metal Husky cover from a 285CD,2100CD or similar saw that previous owner installed.Works great just isn't the same as the original.

I was just going to trade you if it was a oem cover. I am just going to paint the one above orange, but it has a couple cracks and yours isnt oem for saw.

I'll keep looking. I just dont want to get rid of my jonsered NOS metal one yet, if ever.

Good deal. Matter fact I thought of this today and looked deeper into my stuff. I only had the metal NOS one and the plastic one in red.

I ended up painting the plastic one orange today with a older style 2077 recoil orange too.

2077 plastic cover I shown you earlier here. Has a couple of those stress cracks near holes, so didnt meet your wants IMO.
    Before and after paint
