That’s no misprint either...4.7 cubic foot firebox. Likely the largest on the market. J. A. Looks like the big dog NLA in USA due to not passing the EPA 2020 standards...here is what J.A. Roby has certified now...
Not sure what you mean....big dog NLA??? I posted that merely for its impressive size, not EPA certification. Of course, I realize you had no way of knowing that without me mentioning it. In a way, without better pictures and a closer look, to me, those stoves look sort of cheaply made. Maybe that is not the case. Don’t hear much about them.
Both stoves no longer available? Magnum and the Ultimate? Both had 4.7 cu. ft. Hmmmnn...didn’t realize that. Was taken from a current website.
Lots of companies are failing to update their websites or flat out lying about being EPA2020 approved for sale in the US. Check the EPA list for anything you are considering buying to verify actual 2020 certification or even for no other reason than to get the actual measured performance specifications using the best test method the EPA could come up with for application to all stoves.
Very impressive, and especially as someone already mentioned, with a 6" flue. I really like the 25" split length. Throw a combustor in that thing and it would make quite a stove! Brian
25” length. Aren’t most splitters limited to “just” 24”? Still, I could use a BIG output stove for the shop. Bouncing the 3.5 cf nc30 off of the rev limiter is fun but I would like more.
24” would just allow for better air flow inside. Sounds like you need a 36” Elm stove, or a stainless steel double barrel stove retrofit with secondary air and brick lined. Can make that beast yourself if your handy. All sorts of YouTube videos...Wrangler Star has one of Stainless Steel. Back 40-45 years ago my grandpa made one for his shop attached to the barn. That thing would run you out of there. Buy a DS Regulator from DS Machine, or a Hitzer Regulator, or one from Blaze King and play around. It would be fun. Probably right down your alley. Then again, you could just try the ROBY.
