image.jpg Well after waiting almost 4 weeks, my new Kubota has arrived! L3560, 3rd function valve, one rear remote, Grammar seat, and a 7' RFM. Thanks to all of you who gave advice on remotes and mower size.

Handled the mower ok on some week old grass. Had to try it out. My primary purpose for it is 3 acres or so behind my barn. I don't touch it until the time of the year, because it so slow to dry, and it is too rough for my zero turn. I bush hogged it last night, and mowed as much as I could with the 7' mower today. Was slow, but I was cleaning up from the bush hog, lots of grass and clippings. I think a few times over it and I'll be able to mow as fast as the ground conditions allow.

For someone with smooth ground, I think a 6' would be better, but I can't take advantage of going faster with any type of mower. I have the zero turn for the rest of the property and my house.

Question for any of you have a Grand L. The dash display on mine reads in metric. I've read the manual and can't find any instructions on how to reset it to read in English-fuel use and speed. Any of you have advice for me?
    Thanks.

My older M has a very simple dash, and a button specific to units of display. I think it is labeled K/M. I suspect you have more functions to sort through to find it.

I got a reply on another forum. I'll try it tomorrow. Of it fails, I'll try to google it.
I'll try to remember to take some pictures if I get into an intersting project. Plan to do some bush hogging and food plot work next weekend.

Not sure which version/year of the Grand L you have but cycling through the display mode button should give you the option to change the units...

Would think a quick call to the dealer would solve the mystery...or just learn metric :D

Well I got it adjusted-you have to access the display by holding the button down while turning the key on, then scroll through to letter J, and reset to English units.

I do know metric, actually taught it in a Business Math class 10 years ago-just prefer English.

Nice looking machine sounds like it will cut that 3 acres with ease once you have it tamed
